United Way Day of Caring 2016

Paws Under Stars is the primary fundraiser for the Rockingham -Harrisonburg SPCA. This premier event is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Spotswood Country Club. The gala includes heavy hor d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and music by Little Walter and the Convictions. Beer, wine, and assorted soft drinks will be available.
Funds from the event are used to provide food, shelter, comfort, and medical care for thousands of stray and surrendered dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and other critters. The dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to give these animals the basic necessities, as well as provide love, comfort, and security to help lessen their fright. Providing all these services is quite expensive. Proceeds from this event help fund the important services of the SPCA.
Want to meet some of our adorable pets? Plan to swing by Petco for the SPCA Adoption Showcase Event and meet these lovable animals.
Plan to visit Steven Toyota for the “My Furry Valentine Adoption Event” . Steven Toyota has generously offered to pay $55 of the adoption fees during this event. If you are looking for a cuddly, loving companion for Valentine’s Day, this is the event for you!
