Skyline Literacy New Volunteer Orientation

/in fundraiser, yard sale Plains District Museum, yard sale/by AnnCome out and support the Plains District Museum on Saturday, July 23 at the Summer Indoor Yard Sale! All the usual treasures – books, housewares, tools, etc. –and NEW items as well! This is a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
Animal Palooza
/in animals, dogs Animal Palooza, dogs, spca/by AnnCome out to support your local SPCA by registering your pooch for games and activities, direct donations, and raising awareness for our homeless four-legged friends. Once you register your dog, it will be eligible to compete in up to three competitions appropriate for all skill levels! All dogs in attendance must present vaccination records upon entry. Register by September 14 for the inaugural Animal Palooza!
Fundfest with band The Goodsons
/in fundraiser, music FundFest, spca, The Goodsons/by AnnFundFest has been going on for about 20 years and each year, eight charities are picked from a pool of applicants and all the proceeds from the event go to those charities. Cost is $2 and is paid at the gate.
The charities range from from the American Cancer Society to day cares.
The Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA has been hosting FundFest for about 10 years.
